1)  Must be 18 years old as of November 11, 2007 to participate in the contest.

2)  For every $10 in merchandise purchased or commission paid for service industries, the individual will receive one (1) ticket.

3)  The contest will run from 12 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2007 through 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2007.

4)  $1000 in Christmas Bucks will be given away on Monday, November 19, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. at the Coffeyville Chamber of Commerce.  Tickets received for purchases made between Noon Sunday, November 11, 2007 and 8 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2007, will be eligible for this drawing.  You need not be present to win.  After the winning number is drawn, the winning number will be announced on local radio stations KGGF, printed in the Wednesday edition of the Coffeyville Journal and posted on www.coffeyville.com.  If after five (5) days, (4 p.m. November 23, 2007) no one comes forward with the corresponding ticket, the process will be repeated until a winning ticket is presented.  The winning ticket will need to be presented at the Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 807 Walnut.  After the winning ticket is verified, the participant will be awarded Christmas Bucks for the total prize amount.  [NOTE:  Do not throw tickets away after the initial drawing.  The winning ticket for the second drawing will be drawn from all tickets collected between November 11 and December 16, 2007].

5)  $2,000 in Christmas Bucks will be given away on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.  Tickets received for purchases made between Noon Sunday, November 11, 2007 and 8 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2007 will be eligible for this drawing.  You need not be present to win.  The winning number will be announced on local radio stations KGGF, printed in the Wednesday edition of the Coffeyville Journal and posted on www.coffeyville.com.  If after five (5) days, (4 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2007) no one comes forward with the corresponding ticket, the process will be repeated until a winning ticket is presented.  The winning ticket will need to be presented at the Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 807 Walnut.  After the winning ticket is verified, the participant will be awarded Christmas Bucks for the total prize amount.

 6)         Christmas Bucks will be redeemable as cash at the participating merchants of the 2007 Christmas Cash Give Away.  Merchants may receive them as cash and then bring them to the Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 807 Walnut to be fully reimbursed.  You must be one of the 34 participating merchants to redeem Christmas Bucks.

7)  Owners, employees and relatives of the owners and employees of participating merchants are eligible to win, provided the winning ticket did not come from those tickets issued to that merchant. 

8)  No purchase is necessary to participate in the contest.  Participating businesses will issue one (1) free ticket per week per person.  The free ticket must be requested and the individual requesting it will be required to sign for the ticket.

9)   By entering the Contest, you agree and accept that the Coffeyville Chamber of Commerce and City of Coffeyville may be required to file certain information with various governmental agencies with respect to the prizes exceeding certain amounts, and, in such event, a participant that wins any such prize must complete any written materials that may be required by any such governmental agencies and will be requested to do so by the Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Coffeyville.  Failure of a participant to comply with the request of the Coffeyville Area Chamber Commerce and City of Coffeyville will result in the winner’s forfeiture of such prize.  Winners are solely responsible for all Federal state, local or other applicable taxes with respect to the prizes awarded by the Contest.

10)  The Contest is provided “as is” without express or implied warranties of any kind.  The Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Coffeyville, as the Contest Sponsors, assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the Contest.  The Contest is subject to all applicable laws of the Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Coffeyville and State of Kansas.  The Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Coffeyville reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Contest; and/or make changes to these Contest Rules.
