COMMUNICATIONS
Coffeyville Police Department (CPD) Communications is a
vital part of the Department and is operated by four
full-time dispatchers and two part-time dispatchers. CPD
Communications handle an average of 20,000 incidents per
year from the citizens of Coffeyville and southern
Montgomery County. CPD Communications is the southern 911
call center for Montgomery County, dispatching Law
Enforcement, City and Rural Fire and EMS.
RECORDS
The Records division is responsible for collecting,
maintaining, entering and indexing all documents generated
by the Department, as well as insuring reports and forms are
forwarded to the appropriate entities. Records is also
responsible for all dissemination of Department records,
preparing copies of reports for officers going to court and
maintaining statistical information.
ANIMAL
CONTROL
Animal Control insures that the citizens of Coffeyville
adhere to the animal ordinances adopted by the City, assists
citizens with animal problems/complaints, coordinates with
citizen groups regarding adoption and maintains the animal
shelter.
MUNICIPAL
COURT
The Municipal Court is comprised of the Court Clerk and the
Prosecuting Attorney who are responsible for scheduling,
prosecuting, tracking dispositions, and collecting fines for
municipal court cases.
ADMINISTRATIVE
ASSISTANT
The Administrative Assistant not only handles non-emergency
telephone calls, but is responsible for payroll, accounts
payable, scheduling appointments, transcribing taped
statements and assisting the Municipal Court Clerk and
Records Clerk.
