It is the mission of the Coffeyville Police Department to protect the lives and property of the people we serve, to improve the quality of life in our community, and to enhance public safety while working with our citizens.  This is achieved by providing fair, consistent, compassionate, and professional police service.  We are committed to creating open communications and partnerships within our community.  We are committed to identifying and solving neighborhood problems.  We will serve this community with integrity, honor and hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards to maintain public trust.

The Coffeyville Police Department (CPD) serves the citizens of Coffeyville 24 hours a day, seven days a week by protecting life and property in addition to enforcing laws and maintaining order. The CPD currently has 26 sworn police positions and eight civilians on staff.

9-1-1 Dispatch
The CPD also serves as the 9-1-1 dispatch center for the southern half of Montgomery County and receives an average of 24,000 calls for service each year.
