It is the mission of the Coffeyville Police Department to protect the lives and property of the people we serve, to improve the quality of life in our community, and to enhance public safety while working with our citizens.
Functions
The Coffeyville Police Department (CPD) serves the citizens of Coffeyville 24 hours a day, seven days a week by protecting life and property in addition to enforcing laws and maintaining order. The CPD currently has 26 sworn police positions, two part-time sworn police positions, eight full-time civilians, one part-time civilian and two K-9 officers on staff.
9-1-1 Dispatch
The CPD also serves as the 9-1-1 dispatch center for the southern half of Montgomery County and receives an average of 24,000 calls for service each year.
