Deposits on new residential accounts are $60 for water and $60 for electric or $100 for total electric. Deposits may be waived if you can provide a letter from your former electric utility showing you have not been delinquent on your utility bill for the most recent 12 consecutive months. For customers with a bad payment history double deposits are required.
Residential utility deposits will automatically be refunded with interest after one year provided no late payments are made. This will appear as a credit on the utility bill.
