Coffeyville Municipal Light and Power (CMLP) has been providing electricity for customers in a 67 square mile area since 1901. CMLP maintains 6 substations, 200 miles of distribution lines and 16 miles of transmission lines.

During 2017, Coffeyville tracked 72 reported outages with 36% of those due to weather, 26% due to birds, animals and snakes; 22% equipment failure; and the rest due to other causes such as trees or human interference.

This resulted in electricity flowing to our customers 99.9978% of the time.
