Structure Fire

At approximately 11:51 pm, Saturday, August 3rd, Coffeyville Fire Department responded to a report of smoke in the home at 407 W. New. On arrival, firefighters found light smoke inside the house and an exterior wall smoldering. The residents had extinguished most of the fire prior to Fire Department arrival. Firefighters extinguished remaining burning areas and ensured there was no further spread of fire. Coffeyville Fire Department was assisted by: Coffeyville Police Department, Emergency Medical Services and South Coffeyville Fire Department. The structure was occupied by two adults and no one was injured. Damage to the structure was estimated at $500.00. The fire started on the exterior wall of the structure and is not considered suspicious.
