What happens when people don’t show up for court?: When people fail to come to Municipal Court after promising to appear, a warrant is issued for their arrest and they will be put in the City jail until they post bond. People who attend court and are assessed a fine can also be put in jail if they fail to pay the fine or if they fail to make the payments they agreed to pay while at court.

What methods of payment are available to pay fines?: Fines may be paid in person using cash, personal check, money order, cashier’s check or credit card from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. A 1.75% fee will be assessed on the total amount of all credit and debit card transactions. Fines may be paid by mail using personal check, money order, cashier’s check. the mailing address is Municipal Court, P. O. Box 1629, Coffeyville, KS 67337.

2. Where do I pay a ticket?: Tickets can be paid in person in the Court Clerk’s Office, Police Department, 1206 W. 11th or by mail to P. O. Box 1629, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
